Tales From Planet Rock: Michael Hutchence appears as ghostA film about INXS singer Michael Hutchence is set to be made.
The movie will feature his 'ghost' talking to his young daughter about his troubled life.
'Slide Away' will see Hutchence lead his 11 year-old daughter Tiger Lily on a tour of his rock 'n' roll life.
The film is set on a stormy London night on the 10th anniversary of Hutchence's death, when a figure appears in Tiger Lily's bedroom.
The singer was found dead in his Sydney hotel room on November 22, 1997. In the film he is set to take Tiger to the hotel on the day of his death, reports The Sun. Metric side-project announce debut album, tour
Bang Lime, a side project of Metric, have announced the release of their debut album 'Best Friends In Love'.
The band is made up of guitarist/singer Joshua Winstead and drummer Joules Scott-Key, Metric's bassist and drummer.
'Best Friends In Love' was recorded at Sharkbite studio in the band's hometown of Oakland, California. The album was self produced and was engineered by Drew Malamud who has previously worked with The Dears and Stars.
The band will kick off their first tour in August in support of the release.
